How do I install my shower filter?
Unscrew your existing shower head, wrap the Teflon tape clockwise around the shower arm threads, screw on the filter housing, then screw on your shower head. Open the water for 30 seconds to flush.
How often should I replace the cartridge?
For a standard 4-person household we recommend replacing the cartridge every 6 months or 10,000 gallons (38,000 L), whichever comes first. Replace sooner if you notice a change in water flow, pressure, or odor.
Does it reduce hard water / limescale?
Our hard-water cartridges use a food-grade polyphosphate media and mineral ceramic balls to prevent scale formation on shower walls, glass and heaters. Chlorine is also removed.
Will it reduce water pressure?
No. Our filter housing is engineered with high-flow design (up to 2.5 GPM / 9.5 L/min). Some customers report a pressure increase because old clogged shower head.
Is it compatible with my shower?
Yes. Standard G1/2 thread fitting. Compatible with most standard shower arms, handheld, and rainfall shower heads. Please see our installation manual for details.
What is the warranty on the housing?
Housing carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Cartridges are consumables and guaranteed for life / gallon rated.
